This analysis is based on a selected group of the listed companies. This means that solely due to changes in the composition of the selected group of companies there can be fluctuations in the results from year to year.
It is important for the Committee that the recommendations are an appropriate tool for companies to implement good and ascertainable corporate governance. Among other things, the Committee uses the analyses to assess which of the recommendations seem to be difficult for the companies to comply with.
The recommendations on corporate governance supplement current company law and stock exchange regulation as well as the requirements for financial reporting. Supervision of companies' compliance with rules and regulations is partly exercised by Nasdaq Copenhagen A/S and partly by the FSA Governing Board.
